Dr. Chien-Chung Huang

huangChien-Chung Huang (Ph.D., 1998, Social Work, Columbia University) is a professor and director of Huamin Research Center and a professor in the School of Social Work at Rutgers University. His research emphasizes on the role of social welfare policy in affecting the well-being of children and their families both domestically and internationally. In addition, he has also specifically investigates the effects of domestic violence on victims and their children. In recent years, Dr. Huang has focus on effects of nonprofit sector on social development. Dr. Huang co-edited three books, and published more than 40 articles in peer-review journals. His research has appeared in journals including Child Development, the Journal of Human Resources, the Journal of Marriage and Family, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, the Journal of Population Economics, Social Service Review, Family Relations, and Children and Youth Services Review.
